On-Site Meeting

Whether it's a home addition, remodel or new house design, our custom home design process starts with an on-site meeting with you to gather information on lot details, measurements, and community guidelines. In this first step, we see how we can best work with the lot to create a home that is consistent with your vision.

Brainstorming

Your input and opinions are central to the custom home design process. In a brainstorming session, we take note of any key features you would like included in the design, including square footage, number of rooms, architectural style, and unique spaces. Our goal is to gain an understanding of exactly what you want in your home.

Paper and tools to start the custom home design process

Floor Plan Iterations

We create several iterations of floor plans from the information you provide us. From those options, we coordinate with you to get a feel for which layout you like most and establish a good base for what will become the final plans.

Design & Review

Based on the floor plan iterations, we design your dream home. This includes things such as 3D models & virtual reality so you can see all of your decisions before finalizing them. We never continue until you are completely satisfied with the design. We will do client reviews as many times as necessary to design your perfect home.

Engineering & Architectural Plans

Once we have your approval on the design, we work with the engineer to finish all remaining details. We then create construction documents necessary for the builder of your choice who will begin building your custom dream home.
